Straight hair making it impossible to get those gorgeous dolly curls? The solution is, and I'm not kidding, a hair straightener.
This hairstyle works best when done on day-old hair, but if you can't stand it not being freshly washed, it should work fine either way. Take a one inch strand of hair and clamp your straightener on it as if you were going to straighten your hair normally. However, before you move down the hair, twist your straightener 360 degrees so your hair wraps all the way around the straightener. Continue down the rest of your hair. Hair straighteners get hotter than curling irons, and the motion used seems to give the curl a better hold.
*Note: This takes A LOT of practice. This video by Bubzbeauty ( http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0iB4Sp3zdqE) help to see how it's done. Practice while your straightener is off until you get the hang of it to prevent burning your hair.
