Living in denial
Chapter 1
I was 15 when I first fell in love. And I mean really in love. It felt like he was my Noah and I was his Allie. I loved him and he loved me too. Everything seemed so perfect. He treated me like a princess. When I was with him the rest of the world seemed to fade away. It was just me and him. He was one of the very few people who could make me happy.
It was our 6 month anniversary. He arrived at my doorstep at exactly 7:02 and lightly pressed his lips against mine. "You look beautiful." He said. I smiled. We walked hand in hand to a restaurant just down the street. That was when my life completely changed forever. If the tragic accident had have happened a few seconds later, maybe he would have survived. But he didn't survive. The car skidded. It knocked him straight to the ground. I cannot possibly put into words the pain that shot through my body. The stab of coldness that went through my heart. Nobody will ever know how I felt. For a moment all I could do was stand there in shock, then people came over to help and called 911. Then I ended up on the ground beside him. That's when my tears started to fall, when reality finally hit.
That day I didn't just loose the person I loved, I lost my bestfriend too.
