Everyone's relaying their stories about who they're in love with, but somehow that's not the vibe I'm getting from this quote. Are you talking about your best friend? I'm going though that now, the whole fading thing from my best guy friend. I had set him up with his girlfriend six months ago and right before that we had lost our other best friend to a car crash, now he's acting as if he never knew me or her and he's telling me he's done with my and to off. Today I figured out I sit next to him on the bus. It hurts, I know hun, but time heals--even if the healing process is painful.

This is really good, but I hope it doesn't happen to you or anyone reading this because it's happened to me, except I didn't get to say goodbye. All I have to say is cherish your loved ones, and I urge you to make yourself realize the gifts you have in your life while they're still there. Even though the pain might hurt that much more when they're taken or they leave on their own, at least you have the knowledge of how much their smiling face means to you while they're still around.
