Of course I want to stay friends, Rose, you have no idea how much you mean to me, but cutting isn't something you can just stop. You have no idea how many things I've tried to stop. I've tried the Butterfly Project, I've tried promises with my friends, I've tried throwing my pocket knife outside, I've tried so many other things, nothing's working, I want to stop, I do, I really do, but it's an addiction, Rose, I've done it for so long, it's gonna take a while to stop.
