Honestly, people commit suicide when they've actually hit a point in their life where they can't take it. If you've gone through so much, you begin to not care whether it'll hurt someone else in the process; all they think is that they want it to end. That they don't want to be here anymore.
Not trying to be rude, sorry if it sounded like it. :/
But just because you think that you wouldn't want to grieve your friends over your death, many others are loners and commit it knowing no one would care or think no one would care. Or maybe they were bullied to a point where that's all they COULD believe? But sometimes it just gets so bad, they just do it without remorse. Ya'know?
