And i swear one day,
him & i
are going to spend a whole day

without any regrets
were going to go walk by the shore,
hand in hand
and he'll say " i love you"
then i'll
jump on his back
kiss him on the back of his head,
where is hair is so soft
and say,
I love you too.
then he'll run with me on his back,
into the water.
and i'll scream
not because i dont want to go into the
freezing water fully clothed
but because
im not going to let go of him.
& i jump off his back,
"im drowning" i'll say.
he come at me in
"slow motion"
like a life guard.
and put me in his arms
then we'll laugh together.
...
then we'll go up on the beach and try to feed
the seagulls that are attacking us
but then run
holding hands
down the beach
screaming.
...
and when it starts to get dark and no one is around
he'll ask me to dance with him
and we will
in the the sand
barefoot
no music
but we'll dance our hearts out
because we love
each other
..
and then i'll look at the clock
and it's an HOUR
past the time im supposed to be home
..
but we'll run
no, we sprint
as fast as
we can
...
but on the way home,
he'll pick me up
and carry me
& run!
still
running
..
and when he finally gets me home
we'll stand on the porch
& he'll kiss me
...
he'll tell my dad it wasnt my fault it was his,
he lost track of time.
...
then i dream about doing the same thing
with him
tommorow.
and saying
" I love you"
again.
