On the phone last night,
I was talking to my ex-boyfriend's best friend, Matt.
Since they're best friends, of course they sound and act the same..it brought back so many memories that I started crying.
Matt knows I'm still upset after a month.. You know what he said?
"Meghan. Please stop crying. You're beautiful, I really like you, and hearing you cry makes my heart break and makes me want to cry. You're better without him. Don't you worry, princess. I gotchu forever."

This came out of my online Health book...
How would you characterize a person who has low self-esteem?
Social isolation, pessimistic outlook about life and self worth, feelings of worthlessness as a member of society, etc.
A person with low-self esteem often has a misguided or inappropriate view of themselves. They do not respect themselves and judge their actions and appearance harshly. Sometimes the worry too much about what others think of them. They may act one way but inside they feel insecure. Their emotional health is not in balance. When they fail they react negatively thinking they are not good enough or not able.
Studies show that teens with low self-esteem are more likely to engage in risky behaviors like substance abuse; they are more likely to become pregnant teenagers; they are more likely to suffer from disorders like cutting or anorexia.
