No, I understand. Has he ever said it to you? It's good that you're dating your best friend. But, I think things get more confusing because you're used to be so honest with each other and now things are changing. How do you think you're in love with him? Do you know for sure? There's a difference between loving someone. & being IN LOVE with someone. I learned that the hard way. I think that you got scared after the first time yous said it, and you didn't know if what you felt was real. Don't second guess yourself. You know you best. If you love him, then tell him. He'll respect you if he loves you too. And being that you're best friends, it might be easier for you to tell him that because the "friendship love" is already there. Don't wait for love, because someday ... it might be gone. Follow your heart, & tell him that you love him. You're only young once.
