Today was perfect. He pushed me on a swing. We held hands. We talked. We kissed. We laughed. We sang together in the car. We ate ice cream, and shared sodas. We took my little cousin to the park, even though it looked like we were teen parents. We played along with the stares from the mother who was there. Later, we took my little brothers to the park, and he once again proved he's going to be a great father. We played football, and basketball, and kickball, and frisbee, even though I got mad and quit. He didn't say a word when I gave my attention to the little kids and baby at the barbeque. He talked with my family. He let me do as many cartwheels and handstands as I wanted without saying a word. He brought me cherries whenever he passed the table they were on. We just had fun today, and it was a great day. We've been together for 6 months, and everyday he makes me feel like he did today. He makes me feel special, like I'm the only one for him. Like I actually matter. He gives a dxmn about me. But God, even with that feeling everyday, today was just perfect. ♥

I'm not the kind of depressed that cuts my wrists and wants to off myself. I'm the kind of depressed that cries but doesn't tell anyone how bad they're hurting. And no one seems to care when I do say something about how I feel.
