I agree. Some people say that its impossible to be towards white people, like you mentioned, but we have spent all this time trying to prove that all races are the same as being white. So, if all races are the same, then can't we be just as towards being white as we could to being black (or any other race)? I don't know if this is completely ignorant of me, but this is just my take on what you wrote. reply
Maybe it's okay for black people to be "proud to be black" because they are a minority group. It's a smaller group and there are less of them.
It's like saying "I'm proud to be a band geek."
They're proud because there's only a few who are.
And everyone likes to be different. In a final summation: Everyone is a hipster.
IDK. Everyone can't help but stereotype and judge. We are made to pass judgement on others. If we didn't have judgement of people, how would others have survived when judging possibly dangerous individuals was crucial thing?

It's mostly just to get people to see more quotes from different users and - seeing as when you hit 'This is a good quote.' you add that quote to your favourites - it gives people who don't get many faves more of an opportunity to get their quotes seen. reply

i am an expert and if our government would stop handing out money to those who dont deserve it theyd have a little less issue with the budget. reply

I don't think people are upset because others are sad about her death, I think it's the way they are handling it. Coming from somebody who lost a family member to cancer just last week, it's a bit annoying to see quotes and statuses and trending topics about a little girl who showed people how to do thir makeup. My aunt was diagnosed and in remission 3 times before passing last Thursday. No, she wasn't well known and didn't show people how to put on eyeshadow and sh.t but she lived positively each day. She started her own organization to raise money for cancer research. Where's her hashtags? Talia's death is sad, but so is everybody else who loses their battle with cancer. It's just a bit frustrating, especially for me. reply

...Both things are 100% true though. Taking nudes & sending them when you're under 18 is considered child po.rnography and there is absolutely nothing funny about ra.pe. reply
