One of the many downsides to living where I am is that all of my family lives in Canada and I never see them. reply

That sounds nice. On island, it's basically summer year-long. It's usually really hot, but the heat doesn't bother me. reply

I'm from Canada, but I've lived in the Caribbean most of my life. I really loved the cold when I was in it a month ago. On island, if it's under 80 degrees, you'll see people wearing jackets. reply

Well I live on an island in the Caribbean, so that was the first time I'd seen snow in over 10 years. reply
