I'm telling you this as someone that knows what you go through.

I used to cut cause I felt that it helped me relax and just made me forget all the pain. I still believe it does. It's a horrible thing to do to yourself, though. Every time you look at the scars, you wonder what could have been so bad to push you so far down a road you never meant to enter in the first place. I still struggle with the urges and the pain that made me start, but after I started getting help from my loved ones, they showed me I didn't need to. That I'm better than that. That there ARE other ways to deal with the problems life throws at you.

I still struggle with this and believe me, it's not fun. Please don't do it.

Face your problems and show them you aren't afraid. You're worth it; we all are.

You're making it seem like you don't care about Jake enough. Maybe she does care about him a lot, but you can't just push him onto someone he may not want. You could make it worse.

But to my point, I wouldn't give up my relationship with my boyfriend for anybody, even if it came down to this... maybe it's shallow, but I care about my boyfriend, so you should consider that if your feelings are strong enough to keep Jake around and to call him yours.

First, you should relaxxx.
When it comes to what to wear, make sure it's something cute, yet not over the top.
Make-up, try not to over do it, go a little on the natural side.
If he cares about you, you'll look beautiful regardless in his eyes.
