Same Mistakes
Chapter 2
Ethan continued kissing the girl, and it got to the point were I couldn't see it anymore.
"Hey, I'm not feeling that well, I'm going outside for air," I said to Hailey as I left her talking to some guys.
I walked upstairs, to the balcony we would always hang out at.
I pushed the slide door then tried to turn on the lights, but the lights were really dim.
"The lights don't work," a deep voice said.
"Woah, I didn't know someone else was here!" I screamed in terror.
"Haha, calm down. I'm not a murderer," He was sitting down on the patio chair.
I joined him, and sat down on the other chair, next to his chair.
"So why'd you come up here?" I asked, only people come up here alone when something's wrong.
There was silence for a bit, but he then continued,"J-Just because, I guess. Why are you here?"
"Well...Let's just say the guy I like, "I stuttered, not knowing how to explain it,"I saw him making out with a girl..."
I tried not crying, but re-thinking the situation made me miserable.
I started crying, but I didn't want to sound obvious.
"It's okay Alyssa, I know how it feels. To like a girl who doesn't like you back..," He gave me a hug to comfort me.
"H-how do you know my name?" I looked up at him, trying to see who he was.
It was so dark, I couldn't see anything. All I saw was his shadow.
"How don't I know your name? You're the most popular girl in school, and I like you," He brushed my cheek, and we were looking into each other's eyes.
"Who are you?" I tried not sounding rude," You're so sweet, how can I not know you?"
"That's not important right now." He said to me, gazing into my eyes.
I was leaning against the wall, and he was leaning into me.
Then, he slowly pressed his soft lips into mine.
It was a simple kiss, but it felt long and sensual.
He pulled away, I could make out a smile on his face.
"Woah," I smiled back.
"You're a good kisser," I could see him smirk.
I was so blushing, but it was a good thing he couldn't see.
"I'll see you around," He slid the door open, then walked out.
I thought about chasing after him, but I was to caught up with what had just happened.
He was the only one that could take my mind off Ethan.
