Chapter 35
Niall's P.O.V.
Present
I woke up on the couch, my arms wrapped tightly around Maddie as she slept soundly next to me. I felt the corners of my mouth raise slightly as I looked over to see Maddie and my guitars resting against the other chair. I laid back down, burying my head into the crock of Maddie'e neck before falling back to sleep. About an hour later I felt something run through my hair.
"Your cute when you sleep," I heard a ruff, tired voice whisper. I opened my eyes to see a pair of bright brown eyes.
"Good morning Princess," I whispered kissing the tip of Maddie's nose. "What time is it?" I tightened my grip on Maddie's waist, pulling her slightly closer to my chest. I felt her wrap her arms around my neck.
"Early?" Maddie shrugged, as I rested my forehead against hers. "What time did we go to bed?"
"We never went to bed," I laughed kissing Maddie again. I got a slightly confused look as Maddie closed her eyes and kissed me back. "Princess, you do realize we're still on the couch?" I whispered pulling away, and sitting up still holding tightly to Maddie. She rubbed her eyes, and yawned. "Are you still tired?" She shrugged a little as I shifter one of my arms under her legs, and stood up. "Do you want me to bring you to bed?"
"Yes pwease," Maddie mumbled like a two year old. "Will you snuggle too?" She asked kissing my jaw line. I smiled kissing the tip of her nose as I opened the door. I put Maddie down in her bed, and kissed her gently.
"Sleep tight baby," I whispered. I felt Maddie grab my hand, pouting as I tried to leave. "What's the matter?" I sat down on the edge of Maddie's bed, resting my hand on her stomach. "Do you feel okay?" I whispered kissing her forehead.
"I don't want you to go," She whispered wrapping her arms around my neck. I titled my head down, so that our foreheads laid against each other. "Just stay here," I kissed Maddie gently as she let go of my neck. I laid down next to her, feeling Maddie move to rest her head against my chest. I let my hand fall to rest against Maddie's hip. I gently stroked the back of her head. "Niall?" I heard Maddie's soft voice mumble.
"Yes Princess," I kissed her temple, feeling her smile against my chest.
"Never mind," She whispered stilling smiling.
"I love you," I whispered kissing her temple again.
Her perfect brown eyes glanced up at me. "I love you too," She whispered before closing her eyes.
