    . I . S U P P O S E .
We can never get used to change.
    However – C H A N G E – can't be stopped.
We can either go with it, or we get left behind.
But in time tears will dry and fear will wear off.
    I believe that.

So you look for patterns because that’s what humans do to try and make sense of things. In hope of some divine order. And you look in movies and songs and the things that you read for symbols, points and swirls that match your own. But the only real pattern there is, is the one you make when you hold up a mirror. And reflect.
    —Iain Thomas

Anyone who has ever scanned the bookshelves of a new girlfriend or boyfriend– or peeked inside his or her medicine cabinet– understands this implicitly; you can learn as much, or more, from one glance at a private space as you can from hours of exposure to a public face.
    —Malcolm Gladwell

Let yourself go and let yourself obsess over every little detail of the breakup and the relationship. You will need to do this for yourself. You will need to allow your mind to take it all in so that by the time you get back up on your feet, you know how you feel.

"The word ‘I’ symbolizes own EGO as sage says,
‘YOU’ sounds ADVICE directed towards others and
    ‘WE’ signifies ACTION as it involves everyone alike;
A true leader defines and differentiates oneself from others by often constructive ACTION than ADVICE and the same reflects in one’s language."

    2015
2015 was probably the most eventful, emotional, and impactful year of my life. i am 100% positive that i have changed drastically since january 1st of this year. this was the year of trying new things and stepping out of my comfort zone more than ever, going out with the old and in with the new, taking risks and beginning to find myself. there were tears of joy, laughter, happiness -- this year holds some of the best things that have ever happened to me. there were also tears of pain, sadness, and disappointment. but regardless of the highs and lows, i am thankful for it. i have learned quite a lot this year, but these things stuck out to me the most:
    1. it is much much better to be all alone than to be surrounded by people who don't respect you, who make you feel bad about yourself, and who prevent you from growing as a person. stay as far away from them as you can, they aren't helping.
    2. never, EVER, give up on your dreams, no matter what people tell you, no matter how impossible they may look. you have to stay positive and believe they will happen. some of the things i thought about every day and wanted so badly but couldn't get have happened this year because i had faith that deep down that they would, and eventually they happened. i have bigger goals now that many have laughed at and others thought were insane, but i'm thrilled for the day i can prove them wrong. optimism is key, and it will take you a very long way.
    3. do NOT feel bad about taking your life at your own pace. just because everyone else seems to have their future planned out, because they have a job and goals that differ from yours does not mean you are doing life "the wrong way". do what you need to do to make yourself happy and anyone who is against that is a sack of shít who needs to mind their own business and focus on themselves.
i'm ready for 2016 now, for something new. i hope that i'm able to find and have all that i want in the new year, and i hope you all will too.

    Cracked liked an old mirror
    Held together with dust
    The light shine
    Of what could have been
    Is so bright
    It could blind
    But past the warm
    As sunlight glare
    The shattered reality
    Is reflecting back

    "Never trust a mirror,
It only shows you what's skin deep.
You can't see how your eyelids flutter,
When you're drifting off to sleep.
It doesn't show you what the world sees,
    When you're only being you.
Or how your eyes just light up,
When you're loving what you do.
It doesn't capture when you're smiling,
    Where no-one else can see.
And your reflection cannot tell you,
    Everything you mean to me.
    Never trust a mirror,
For it only shows your skin.
And if you think it dictates what you're worth,
    It's time you looked within."
    ~E.h.

    I turn, I look.
I see the figure of a girl.
    Is she happy?
    Is she sad?
I wonder what she is thinking.
    I smile.
    The vision reflects
From the mirror in her mind.
    She seems to mimic me.
    I move closer
    Her touch is cold.
A gentle fog forms between us.
    Where has she gone?
    I feel lost.
    Looking closer, searching.
    What am I looking for?
    A Friend?
    Someone who is caring?
    Someone who is accepting?
    I move away.
    The fog slowly clears
    I see her again.
    I smile.
    She smiles back.
I like the girl I see.
Could the girl in the mirror be me?
    I stop and stare
    She looks back
    A small tear falls,
    Silently down her cheek.
The girl in the mirror is sad.
    She is different
    Can they tell?
She wonders what they will think.
    Are they accepting?
    Will they laugh?
Will they just let her be?
    I smile at her.
    She smiles back.
    I understand how she feels.
    Words are confusing,
    They make no sense
    A world of mismatched emotion.
I look at her, she has gone blank.
Autism, is a world of confusion.
She seems to retreat into her inner most self,
    A place that she understands.
    A place where colours
    Are brighter than light.
Where a pin drop is as loud as a drum
The smell of a rose is so intense,
That she hums and giggles and groans.
    Where the light can dance,
    On a fleck of dust.
Where she sees the music break free.
A place she feels that nobody knows
    Nobody can understand.
    The girl is back.
    She puts out her hand,
    I touch it, she smiles.
She understands that I know what its like
To live in a world so alone.
    I take a step back,
    And look around
And admire the girl I see.
    She will be brilliant,
    She will be fine.
The girl in the mirror is me.

    Look at me,
I may never pass for a perfect bride, or a perfect daughter,
    Can it be,
I'm not meant to play this part?
Now I see, that if I were truly to be myself,
I would break my family's heart.
Who is that girl I see, staring straight back at me?
Why is my reflection someone I don't know?
    Who is that perfect bride?
It's not me, though I've tried.
When will my reflection show, who I am, inside?
How I pray, that a time will come,
I can free myself, from their expectations
On that day, I'll discover someway to be myself,
and to make my family proud.
    They want a docile lamb,
    No-one knows who I am.
Must there be a secret me,
    I'm forced to hide?
Must I pretend that I am someone else for all time?
When will my reflection show, who I am inside?
When will my reflection show, who I am inside?
