Today I came two hours too late to school.
Teacher: Nice that you decided to come. May I ask why you're too late?
Me: I simply slept in.
Teacher: We all could have lept in, but we didn't. You clearly have a lack of discipline.
Me: Well, indeed. And I was witty enough to sleep in, because sleep does your body good. So practically I might have saved my body from getting sick and might have extended my life as human being. Now I don't think I should apologize for trying to get a longer life. Alas, I also think it takes discipline to sleep in, and not torture your body by getting up and reverse the lost hours of sleep in school or after school. By the way, longer sleep would do you well, morning grumpy.
My classmates applauded me and I got a detention, but it was worth it.
