i feel awkward because it seems all of you have favorite bands, artists, and genres of music you like the most when I just like what I like, I don't really have any favorites in music.

Just because I like pop music doesn't mean I can't like Country. Or Rap. Or Old Rock. Or R&B. Or Hip Hop. Or Classical. Or Jazz. Or Acoustic.
Just because I like One Direction doesn't mean I don't like Stevie Wonder. Or Rolling Stones. Or Ed Sheeran. Or Keith Urban. Or Pitbull. Or Lana Del Ray. Or Bach. Or Ross Lynch. Or The Beatles.
Just because I prefer to listen to one radio station, doesn't mean I only like that kind of music.

You know how they say that when a Mom listens to a certain type of music while pregnant, the baby may REALLY like that type of music..they may not know WHY they like it, but they do.
My older sister loves country, and my 2 older brothers like rap.
My mom said that she went to a 3 day Bon Jovi music festival while 7 months pregnant with me.
And they wonder why I love rock music so much.
It's all your fault everyone thinks I'm a weirdo, Mom, all your fault...

I don't even consider Taylor Swift as country, she's pop.
She doesn't play guitar anymore.
She sings annoying, clichéd pop songs.
Yeah, that's not country.
You want country? Try the Eli Young Band or Johnny Cash or Alan Jackson.
Not Taylor Swift.
She's a pop singer, in my opinion, she wasn't too bad when Fearless came out but yeah, she's a pop singer.
