With beams of joy bouncing off of my skin, you see me in the sunlight, you see everything. The little bumps and bruises, the odd curvatures and scars. My insecurities can't stay hidden in the dark, so I let you in. And when you take me in, I hold a breath, I can barely breathe. You take your time and my mind goes wild. I'm thinking up questions like is there gunk in my eyes, something in my teeth? A million thoughts flood in, But then you tell me something...you tell me something I wasn't expecting. You say you see how my dark eyes light up in the sun, yet you don't seem to even notice my extra pudge. Somehow you don't see my flaws. All this time I've hidden behind closed doors, and my imperfection are non-existent to you. You go on and say you can even see my slight dimples emerging. The truth is, you can just see the beauty in everything.
