e r 15
“So,
what do you want to do for your birthday?” Grace
questioned, twirling a piece of her red hair. As of this
Saturday, I'd be 18 and I couldn't be more
happy.
“Uh,
nothing.”
“C'mon! It's your
18th! You've got to do something, how 'bout we
go out to a club? I'm 18 so its no problem. We can invite
some others if you want.”
“No, just you and Justin. You
can tell Will if you want,” I said knowing that she'd
want Will there with us.
“No one else? Are you
sure?”
“Positive,” I
replied.
“Okay!” Grace chirped,
cheerfully.

It was now Thursday meaning I had English. I had English on most
days but Mr Parker hadn't been here all week so I hadn't
had him but today, he was here. Unintentionally, I walked in on
Miss Lake and Mr Parker talking. Miss Lake was a lady who was
around 25, she was the youngest teacher here until Mr Parker came
and she was one of the favourites. All the boys fantasied about
dating Miss Lake, 'the hot, older lady who just happened to
be a teacher'. She never dressed like normal teachers would,
she dressed sexy but it also seemed classy.
“So, we're on for
Saturday?” Miss Lake asked, looking at Mr Parker from under
her lashes.
“Yeah, have you spoken to
everyone else?”
“Of course I have, they're
all going to be there.”
“Cool,” Mr Parker
replied and Miss Lake kissed him on the lips. Mr Parker
didn't hesitate to kiss back and thats when I left the
classroom, I shouldn't be prying on the teachers.
They were teachers, I shouldn't care or know about their
private lives.
I went to the bathroom and just stood there, breathing in and
out. It shouldn't bother me that Mr Parker was dating
somebody. I had lost track of time, day dreaming in the bathrooms
and realised I was 10 minutes late for class.
Great.
I ran to English and pushed the door opened, huffing and puffing.
“You're late, Ms Hant.”
“Y-yes, I'm
sorry.”
“Wait outside,” he
demanded. I walked outside, ignoring all the looks the students
in the class were giving me. I waited outside for 5 minutes
before Mr Parker came out. I didn't know if he was angry or
was doing this because he was a d/ck, his face was
blank.
“Sorry, Mr Parker,” I
said wanting to get away from him as soon as possible.
“I don't want to here you
apologising, I want to know why you're always late to my
class.”
“I am not always late to your
classes,” I retorted through gritted teeth. “But
would you like to know why I was late today?” I didn't
wait for an answer, I continued. “I was late because when I
did come in to the classroom you were busy making out with a
teacher and I didn't want to interrupt you.”
“That doesn't explain why
you were ten minutes late!”
“Why are you giving me a hard
time about ten minutes! I am just one student in a full class. I
shouldn't matter.”
“You
don't.”
