Because when people don't understand something, they get angry. They attack. Don't let him be sad, he's obviously really something. Stay strong.

I remind him how perfect he is all the time. They kick, punch, trip, and push him. They call him names, and once he got choked and passed out. The worst part is, he's a freshman and I'm in 8th grade, so I can't even give him a hug when something happens. Ugh. ;p but yeah, he's trying.(:
