no offense, but if you're going to leave because of a few dumba/ss girls who can't handle themselves online, then you should probably take this time wisely and just cool off. I never heard of any of this stuff with the fans. i'm absolutely sure it's true, because the 1D fans can be cruel, but when you stereotype all 1D fans based off of a few stupid girls, it's irritating that you get mad when we decide to say that everyone who doesn't like 1D has horrible taste in music. I don't know for a fact that all their music has a story behind it, but i do know it's saved lives. My best friend was insanely anorexic, and she said she actually ate a slice of pizza the first day she heard what makes you beautiful. She said she's never felt prettier just by some boys singing a damn song. So please, don't hate one direction as a band, hate their fandom. Don't say that only your songs save lives, because you will never know how much i just wanted to call each of the boys and tell them how much they meant to me, saving the life of someone who was like a sister to me. Yes, the one direction fandom can get cray just as any band's fans can. one directions just the new "it" band at the moment. within a year or so, there will be another boy band that everyone's going to hate or love. but don't say that their music is meaningless.

you do realize that there ARE SOME DIRECTIONERS WHO DONT HATE ON PEOPLE FOR DISLIKING 1D. RIGHT? I'm one of them. never in my life have i ever told someone to go and kill themselves for any reason. & no offence but Honestly this is pretty stupid for leaving witty because some idiot directioners gave hate to your fav singer/idol. Lots of people hate on one direction on witty. I'm still here. you shouldn't get too offended by the others hating on what you love. just move on with it. your music doesn't suck. mainly because i have never heard of them before...lol buuuut that doesnt mean Im gonna hate on them. this fandom sucks, but only because if the idiot directioners who are telling people to kill themselves. :/

I understand some of what you're coming from but i don't like the way you went about this or the way you said it. there's a minority of the group who aren't like this and you're saying not to hate on people but you're sitting here hating on the entire one direction fandom.

Okay...I understand that the fans are horrible, but for you to say that their lyrics have no meaning and that they don't save lives is wrong. Their lyrics have no meaning to YOU so obviously that means that their lyrics have no meaning to ANYONE, right? Okay...makes sense. I respected you up until that point. And you go ahead and listen to music that saves your life and I'll listen to One Direction-music that saved MY life. Everyone has their own opinions on things so just because YOU think something doesn't mean the rest of the world does.

I'm a 1D fan, not crazy though... anyway, i couldn't of agreed more. People have their own opinions and people shouldn't say those things; words hurt. I respect you for this

i honestly couldn't agree with you more and I'm in that fandom. But please just don't judge the whole of the fandom through only those people. Not all of us are like that. We only get noticed for the idiots who think they rule over everyone because they like the boys or justin bieber or whoever, and think they can say whatever they want to whoever they want and don't think it will have an affect on that person. Every fandom has rotten people who eventually turn peoples' opinions on us into what you wrote. I respect you and what you wrote entirely, but please don't look at us all like we are satan's children.

ok. i hate the majority of this fandom too. most of them are awful people, i know. but please, please, don't group us all together. i'm not hating on you, or your music. i've never, EVER, even thought of telling someone to kill themselves. i don't care that you hate one direction. hate them all you want, i don't think they care either. but respect them, and the good fans. the fans that just like them, and not the other people in the fandom, those are the good fans. respect my taste in music, just like im respecting yours.

My best friend likes them but she's not a hardcore fan. A lot of one direction fans I've come across in person, were just plain rude to me and my friends. And I respect your choice. I respect them, I don't make fun of them because that's rude.

i'm sorry you had to come across those fans. i've met them too, they're judgmental, and rude and think one direction is the best thing to happen to the world. i know they're not, i'm not like them. not everyone in this fandom is, please acknowledge that. some of us are actually semi intelligent and civil human beings. again, im sorry you had to meet those fans. im also sorry about that man who killed himself, i can't say i knew who he was or that i liked him, but im sorry you were hurt by his death.
