The Big Move
Prologue
Sierra's
P.O.V.
My name is Sierra Marcella,
and I'm apparently moving to England.
My parents are super rich, so they just randomly decided to send
me away to boarding school for my junior and senior year.
So here's how it went down.
I had just gotten home from the roller rink with my boyfriend,
and my parents were both waiting for me on the italian leather
couch, sipping a cup of fresh tea.
The fireplace was burning in flames, gobbling up the fresh oak
wood logs.
They had told me to put away my kneepads and helmet, since it was
unsophisticated to go walking around in public with them on.
Then, they just told me that I was going to England, and that I
had a month to pack my bags and say my goodbyes.
I couldn't even say no, since everything was already paid
for.
Stupid no refund policy.
So now I have to leave America to go somewhere where I have
absolutely no knowledge of.
I don't even know if England is a country or a city!
This "perfect" top 10 school is called Cliffington
Academy that's in the city of London, and my parents also
expect me to get spectacular grades and a good referral from the
dean.
Isn't it so unfair?
I don't even get to have a say in this!
Plus, I have to break the news to my best friends and my 5 month
boyfriend.
I have worked hard to have a good reputation, now it's going
to go to waste now that I'm moving across the ocean.
How did a girl like me go from living in North Dakota to moving
to London, England?
The big move better be worth it.
