Maybe.... The guy that you like/love really actually likes you, and he's pretending that he don't like you, just to see if you'll care or not. Then he saw that you didn't say 'I love you' back so he got all defensive and covered it up by saying he will never like you and pretending to be his friend. Trust me this always happens to my friends when it's sooooo obvious it's not the guys friend.

I've sorta had this happen to me before, except he wasn't sweet talking me at first, I got a random text saying I was a and I meant nothing to him and I was nothing but a booty call, but then I found out hours later that it wasn't who I thought it was, it was his friend texting me the whole time. But I still couldn't get it out of my head..
