Prologue.
June 12th, 2012.

I was a young girl with a lot of dreams. My family wasn't anywhere close to perfect. But, they tried looking the part. Both my parents were doctors. Growing up, my sister and I were as close as close got. But, my sister was 3 years older. As we grew into our teenage years, she cared more about the parties then our family. We drifted apart but nothing could get in the middle of a relationship like ours. Even though we could go days without hanging out, we'd still always be there for each other. I was the girl she cried on when things got tough. Bye the time she was 17 and I was 14, we had grown to be more than sisters. We were best friends. I thought I knew everything about her, but I guess not. Since, on June 12th, 2012, just one week before my 15th birthday, my sister Kristi Buis commited suicide.

My parents were left heart broken.
And I, Bree, was left with a hole in my heart.
