Oh my God. You read my mind. I always wonder this, what's the difference? A guy you could meet and be together forever with, just called you beautiful; but it doesn't mean anything, now 1D ooh hold on 'cuz that just gave it meaning! You might never meet them, let alone marry them, so why do you praise them like they're God?

Maybe by the girls saying 'They're real' is saying that a person is saying it over a computer screen. Who's to know if it's a guy or a girl because we can't see them. One Direction we can see but just because they're celeberties. So it's easier to believe it that way then to believe some person who can say they are a guy but isn't.

And I don't like One Direction for their looks. I like them for their personalities and music. Their looks are just a plus to it.

Either way a compliment is a compliment no matter who states it or not. So if someone calls you beautiful, over the computer accept it. Because that one person is just talking to you. Not to 6+ billion other girls. and That person is still real even though you can't see them.

Soo let me get this straight.. if an "ugly" guy told you that you were beautiful and it came straight from their heart you would just dismiss it... But if 5 "hot" pop stars did it, to everyone that listens to their music, you would take that to heart...

And for the girl who stated that some guys on here aren't hot, I've seen some pretty attractive guys on here.
No, I will not believe a quote that says I am beautiful, nor will I believe a song. Just because they're 'hot'. They've never seen me, they can't tell me I'm beautiful. So I can't accept such a compliment.
