   They always tell us the MILITARY should always be repected because of the sacrifice they make for us. POLICE OFFICERS and FIREMEN make the same sacrifice, but only with out traveling so much. If you think about it the POLICE and FIREMEN have a similar goal: protect. POLICE OFFICERS enforce the law, yes they may end fun, but they are protecting us from harm. FIREMEN fight fires and give us medical help next to the PARAMEDICS. MILITARY protects us from outside dangers and serve in risking their lives. This is coming from me, related to a former SHERRIFF, and other POLICE OFFICER, has or had, had atleast one family member(legal or blood) in each branch of MILITARY except COAST GUARD. RESPECT ALL MILITARY, POLICE OFFICER, and FIREMEN, they PROTECT us ALL.

    What I don't understand is when people post quotes of how the screamo or other bands similar to that these days show how society reacts to the lyrics and at the end it shows a pop or rap song and society saying its inspirational. I'm not one for the rap or pop genre. The main part is this is how people don't list metal bands like Metallica or Megadeth; or later bands like Slipknot or Evanescence. They have inspriational lyrics that sound deep and dark. Where do you think bands like that they list got their inspiration? I'm pretty sure they grew up listening to them and learning from them to be different and go for what really is music from the heart. While they could have listened to rap and thought something else. People need to realize that rock started with so many soft notes and gradually went to electric guitars and basses. Black Sabbath started the heavy metal movement. Realize what bands started and kept the rock and metal movement going. They could have given up when they got accused of successful suicides, massacres, and deaths, but they didn't. They kept going. That's why we have bands like Asking Alexandria, Motionless in White, and others. Just try and remember the roots. I'm not saying you have to listen to them but dont forget the past.
