Chapter 16
Isabella's P.O.V.
Our waitress slyly places a folded up napkin on my lap
before asking us what we want.
"Spagetti and meatballs please," Jared smiles. God he
is so adorable.
"Chicken Alfredo," I say. While Jared talks to the
waitress about deserts I open the note.
Meet me in the bathroom -Jeff
"Excuse me," I say, "bathroom."
"Alright," Jared says biting his lip. I get up
hesitantly and leave the table.
"What?" I hiss when I find Jeff leaning against a wall
in front of the fountain on the way to the bathrooms.
"Jared? Really?" Jeff says, scowling at me.
"How did you find out?" I reply, crossing my arms.
"Doesn't matter. Your the one to blame here
Isabella."
"How did you find out?" I insist.
"You know what I think," Jeff says, getting off the
wall and moving closer to me.
"What?" I ask, losing my patience.
"That your seeing Jared secretly because you miss the danger
we had," Jeff says pinning me against the wall.
"Is that right?" I ask trying to keep my cool and
making sure no one is coming.
"Yes, because you miss that electric jolt that came with you
seeing me," he says whispering in my ear.
"Really?" I ask.
"Really," he replies, "because you love
adrenaline. You love knowing that if you made one wrong move, you
could break someones heart. You love the fact that you have so
many guys wrapped around your finger. But you hate that I'm
the one you fell for."
"How about that," I say clicking my tongue. And without
any warning.
Any warning at all.
I slap him.
"Nope, I just hate you." And with that I untangle
myself from his body and strut back the table where Jared is
waiting for me with our dinner.
