I think you should give him a chance. I've been in his position before and it's crazy hard. Just tell him hat no matter how things turn out in the end that you don't want to wreck your friendship. Best of luck :)

I would wait until you're 100% positive that you like him the same way. you don't want to wreck your friendship just because you THOUGHT you liked him the same way. Right?
