THE SCARIEST STORY YOULL EVER HEAR:
Elizabeth helped her dad unload the Scarecrow. Hopefully it would scare off the crows. "Ell, I need to tell you something." She stared at her father. "Okay Dad. What is it?" "Do not come into the field at Midnight." Elizabeth stared at her father confused. "Okay Dad, I won't."

That Night, Elizabeth heard scratching at her Bedroom window. She stood up shakily. "Who's there?" She slowly undid the hatch and peeked outside. Everything was Normal. Wait, wasn't the scarecrow facing the other way before? The scarecrow was now staring at her. She must be imagining things, Elizabeth went back to sleep.

That night it happened again, the same scratching sound at her window. This time Elizabeth was curious. She opened the window once again. The scarecrow was still facing her, but this time one hand was up and one hand was down. She closed the window and shuddered. It was 12:00. Her father said something about that, but she couldn't remember. Elizabeth slipped on her shoes and sneeked outside. The scarecrow was still facing her room. She took one step into the field, Did the scarecrow just move? She thought for sure the scarecrow was facing her room about  a second ago, the scarecrow was now facing her.
I'ts gloomy face was now spread into a eerie smile.

              EPOLGUE:
Elizabeths father threw flowers onto Elizabeths grave. A single tear wept down his wrinkly cheek. When her father turned to walk away, he saw the scarecrow. That eerie smile still spread across its face.
