I know, right? I mean, maybe it doesn't even have to be about them having cancer. Maybe it can be about them having their dreams come true. I'm sure a lot of people would watch it, me being one of them. :D

Entertainment purposes. I agree with you completely. but I feel that if there was a type of show like that it would just be too depressing for some people to watch, and I feel like families would like there privacy with that rather than it be broadcasted nationwide.. sad truth though that little girls and boys have to struggle with cancer they are all in my prayers!

I think you're missing the point of the quote. She's not saying they should get a show, nor is she saying she "hates" 16 & Pregnant. Rather, she is saying that there are much more important things in this life than pregnant 16-year-olds, but the media doesn't display those other things. And after reviewing most of these comments, I understand why- because our minds have been warped to the point where we don't think of these horrible diseases as being all that bad. I mean, sure, there are worse things than cancer, but that doesn't mean it's suddenly unimportant! Teen pregnancy is an important issue as well, but when it's pregnancies due to the stupidity of girls, then why should we celebrate that?

Just venting. :3

i disagree with @blackfires and @dancingismylife213 cuz yea i don't think i'd wanna get depressed by watching people fight cancer but i also don't wanna watch a bunch of pregnant 16 year-olds. im not slamming anyone who's 16 and pregnant i'm just saying that you don't need a show

honestly the only good thing about the show 16 and pregnant is that it shows just how stupid people can be and it finally puts the real in reality TV but i disagree with @blackfires because the show wouldn't just show their lives in the hospital it would show their lives before that and how it affects them now, I mean not all cancer stories are depressing there are a few that are really inspiring

1) this quote had been made before 2)it would be sad if there was a show like that... 3) their are many more horrible things happening in the world but nobody wants to watch a show on that 4)16 & pregnent is entertainning 5) yeah im sure the 16 year olds didn't chose to be pregnent. they didn't realize it would happen
