I still love you.

Chapter 2.
  I slipped on a loose tank top, a pair of white denim shorts, then grabbed my flipflops, and headed out the door.
Brynn, Ainsley, Cade, Owen, Connor, and I, had all made plans to go to the beach today.
The sun burned brightly against the pavement, as I hopped off the front step of our doorway.
Today, was the first day of Summer.
It was only Wednesday, but it felt like Friday.
Everyday felt like Friday in the Summer.
The Miami heat blazed down on my already tan skin, as I drug my feet through the heated sand, aproaching the beach.
The ocean quickly came into my view, and I noticed that everybody was already there, waiting for me.
I took off sprinting towards thems, pushing locks of my hairs out of my face.
"Hey guys." I smiled, reaching them.
"Hey Kadri." They all greeted me.
Well, everbody except Connor.
I was lucky to even get the smallest bit of acknowledgment from him since we broke up.
I don't know what I did to him to deserve this, but whatever it is, he still hasn't let it go.
I ignore it, like I usually do, but it still hurts.
We all stripped down into our swimsuits, and raced down towards the water.
"Here comes a big one!" Cade hollared, extendin ghis finger out to the wave that was slowly building up as it aproached us.
"On the count of 3, we run into it!" Cade instructed us.
We all positioned ourselves on the shoreline, preparing to dodge the enormous wave, that was only getting bigger as it got closer.
I held both Brynn, and Ainsley's hand as the wave drew closer.
"1..2..3!"
We all took off sprinting towards the wave, letting the cold water collide with our bodies.
I made my way back to the surface, spitting out the salty ocean water that lingered on my tounge.
"That was awesome!" Ainsley exclaimed, jumping out from underneath the water.
I laughed in agreement.
"Oh my gosh!  You know what we should play guys?!" Ainsley said, bursting with excitment.
"What?" Owen asked, expecting something completely random.
"Marco Polo!" She blurted.
We all started laughing hysterically.
We hadn't played marco polo since we were little.
We all used to come to the beach together when we were little and play it.
Although, since then, the game has never been spoken of.
"I'm in." Connor piped up.
The rest of us all joined in, too.
We all scattered across the shallow water near the shore.
The water reached just above my chest.
Because Connor was it first, I started sprinting my way through the water, away from him.
Carelessly, I tripped into a log, stuck in the sand beneath me.
The jolt sent me flying forward into the water.
I soon regained my footing, but not soon enough to warn Connor of the log.
The log tripped Connor, too, sending us both plunging back into the water.
I felt Connor's warm body pressed against mine, as we slipped further into the ocean.
I bulleted back up to the surface, gasping for air.
Connor came bobbing up quickly after.
"Are you okay?!" He asked concerned.
However, the look of concern quickly faded after he realized it was me.
"I-i'm fine." I stuttered shyly.
"Sorry." He added meaninglessly.  "I just didn't see you."
I didn't respond, I only walked away.
He didn't see me?  of course he didn't.
He never did.
To him, I was just a stupid mistake, that he didn't care to notice anymore.
I was used to it though.
Being forgotten about.
Being shunned.
 Being invisible.

 Okay, well, you're all probably wondering why this chapter took so long.
I have two words for you.
Hunger    Games   .
Just finished the second book, they're amazing.
However, i'm also grounded..
So if you left me a comment, I might not respond until tommorrow, because I have volleyball soon.
Possibly another chapter tommorow?
