Tbh, Lately a lot of disney stuff has been the same. Hero likes heroine. Heroine pushes away hero. Heroine(Who you then find out is a very powerful figure) becomes the damsel in distress, and hero has to find and save her, which usually involves jumping off a balcony at some point. Hero nearly dies. Heroine cries. By some miracle, hero lives. It's getting a little old.
