So today, I went into the doctor's office, extremely excited to find out the gender of my baby, with Austin by my side.
The first thing the doctor was able to tell me was that my baby was a boy.
And then, after a while, his face kind of went expressionless.
And so he walked out and got another doctor.
The other doctor looked around, and he had the same face.
They left, and Austin and I had no idea what was going on.
And when they came back, they told me that my baby had no heart beat.
Rest in Peace, Austin Chrstopher David. Mommy loves you.

oh my gosh I am incredibly sorry. I haven't been on your witty in a while and I wanted to see the gender. I was glad when I read it was a boy but cried when i read he had no heart beat. I wish the best of luck for you!

I am so sorry. One of my mom's friends had this happen to her. She said that God didn't want to let go of such a wonderful soul yet. I said God is a sick for making you think you'd have a child to raise. She smiled and said But, it's not as fun here. We don't have wings.
