Vent ahead:

I find it really funny;
How I used to be best friends with the most popular girl in school.
How I was really close with the school jock.
How all my old friends who I used to hang with all the time just changed.
They became people I don't even know.
I see them in the halls and smile.
& what do I get? 
Nothing, no smile back, no head nod.
Nothing.
& that feeling I get, it hurts.
I used to be really close with you, and now we can't even talk civilly.
Wow.
It just goes to show you that people really do change.
& you just have to take the high road and move on.

& to all my friends right now, I love you all.
& I hope that unlike every one of my old friends..
You stay with me for the rest of my life, and I look back and smile when I think of you.
