Chapter 1:
Evangeline looked at her brother and sister. Her brother, Fabian
was staring into the sky with his girlfriend on the phone.
Evangeline rolled her eyes and moved her eyes to her sister Opal.
Opal was looking back at her sister and seeing why she was so
upset. Opal walked over to Evangeline and grabbed her hand.
Fabian was the firstborn. He was the sweetest, and the nicest of
the siblings. His mother favorited him, too. He was allowed to do
whatever he wanted whenever. Although he did not take that to his
advantage. Instead he balanced his chores, school work, work at the
local teen hangout , family needs and such, friends, and his
girlfriend. He was pretty talented, too. Played guitar most of his
life, wrote a few plays for the school(both of which were used),
learned to play the schools' band instruments(all), and can
sing beyond belief. You could say he inherited his fathers'
skills, and that might also be why his mother favorites'
him.
Evangeline, the middle child was a little less greater than him.
She was always stressed and coming to her family for help. She knew
she could DO the work, she was just scared to get to it. She was
mostly scared of failing her family; Fabian was too great for her
to fail him, he was always there for her when she needed him. She
was so happy in life though. Her mother loved her, her older
brother loved her, and her little sister loved her. Even though she
was the middle child, she was never blamed for anything, like
middle kids in their town usually are.
Opal wasn't much. She was little, 4. She wasn't a baby
though, she could do anything that her siblings could
do.
