I know how you feel, I lost my grandfather to cancer also. I have the utmost sympathy for you & your family but maybe you should forgo setting the balloon, I realize this may be symbolic but it is also harmful to many sea creatures. Sorry if I am a bother, just something to consider<3

i am so sorry for you grandfather. mine died of lung cancer last wednesday. you should right a letter. express your feelings. and cry. it will help

i lost my grandpa to cancer too, i really cant think of to many quotes to be honest, i just think of how he made me who i am today, & taught me how short & valeueable life is. how you can look at the smallest things & find happiness. really what lifes just about. theres part of a song that i can think of,
The struggles make me stronger
And the changes make me wise
And happiness has its own way of takin it's sweet time
