That Should Be Me
Chapter Two
Jordyn's POV

I had to meet Justin. My new boyfriend, Derek, (lollll) asked me to marry him. But for some reason, when he asked me I couldn’t help but think of Justin. “Justin…” I started. He looked up at me, completely focused. I have to tell him. “Derek asked me to marry him.” He looked like he collapsed inside of him. “…but I told him no.” Justin sat right up. “But, but why?!” He asked. I smiled a little. “When he asked me, I instantly thought of you. I need you, Justin. My life hasn’t been the same without you in it. I’ve still loved you all this time, even when I was dating Derek. I just, I just need to be with you. I love you, Justin.” Justin got all teary eyed and took my hands. “Jordyn, I’ve been waiting for 2 years for us to be together again. I love you too, and I always will, no matter what happens.” Our lips crashed against each other’s and before I knew it we were making out. Oh, how I’ve missed Justin. I love him so much. He was what I thought of when I woke up in the morning, and what I thought about before I fell asleep. I did love Derek, but no one in this world means more to me than Justin.

I put all of my stuff away in my room which I had before I left. Justin was standing in the middle of my door frame when I turned around. He was smiling a little. “What?” I asked chuckling. “Well, one, I’m extremely happy your back… and two, there’s something I should probably do… again.” I smiled. Justin got down on one knee. “Jordyn, I love you. No matter what the future brings us, I will always love you. I loved you when you left, and I still love you now that your back. Please baby, marry me?” Some tears escaped my eyes and I took the ring back and put it on my finger. “Of course, baby.” I said quietly because I was too happy to even speak. He picked me up and spun me around, and then he laid me on the bed. “I’m happy we are back to the way things were.” He said lightly pecking my lips. “Me too.” I said. I couldn’t help but smile when I was around him. “I knew from the moment I looked at you, you were the girl I was going to marry.” Justin said. I passionately kissed him and rested my head on his chest. I love this man so much. I don’t think anything can tear us apart now. He wrapped his arms around my waist and I wrapped my arms around his chest, and that’s how we fell asleep. I feel so safe around Justin.

I woke up in the morning still in Justin’s arms. Thank god this wasn’t all just a dream. I smiled at him and he woke up. He smiled back. “I could feel you smiling at me” He said, and then kissed my cheek. He went to get up and change when I pulled him back down and squeezed him tight. “I love you, baby.” I said in a little kid voice. He picked me up and sat me down on his lap. “I love you too, baby.” Then, he pecked my lips and hugged me tight. I never want to be without Justin again.
