Around 11:30, I told my teacher I was
sick. I started fake coughing and acting like my stomach
hurt. "Oh my ... well ... go see the nurse."
She said. I nodded and thanked her. I walked into the
hallway and got a drink from the water fountain. As I was
about to walk into the bathroom, I heard a voice behind
me. "Faking to be sick? Really?" I turned
around. Mark. "Stalking me, eh?" I laughed.
"Hahaha, no. I just ... wanted to know." He
smiled. I started to notice how cute he was. "I have
to go meet my sister Lane. Look, long story short: we got
separated when we were younger, she arrived at my door
yesterday, she asked to live with me, I said yeah, and
two swing by today at 12. Kay?" I said. He looked
confused for a while, then nodded his head. "Oh,
kay. Mind if I come?" He asked. I smiled.
"Haha, of course not. I'll be right back
though." I turned around and walked into the
bathroom. I checked my hair and make up then walked back
out. Mark was holding my backpack and his backpack was
slung on his right shoulder. We walked down the hallway,
talking, when I stopped at the nurse's office.
"Hold on." I walked in, told the nurse what was
wrong with me, and she let me go. I walked back out. Mark
and I took the front door and started
walking.
