That was it. He's gone. Danny is
... gone. I instantly regretted everything I ever had
with him. But I quickly pushed that thought away.
Lane's coming. Tomorrow. Tomorrow ... oh God,
tomorrow! Tomorrow I made plans to go to the movie
theater with my friends, Mark and Mayce. Oh crap. Well
maybe Lane would like going to the movies? I don't
know. I straightened up the house a bit and set up the
guest bed. Green sheets or pink sheets? Hmm... pink! I
set them on the bed and left it at that. I crawled into
bed and decided to read a book out of my bookcase. The
Chronicles of Narnia. Perfect. I ended up reading three
hours and fell asleep.

The next morning, I got ready for school. Two words:
Mondays. Suck. I forced myself out of bed and took a
shower. I blow dried my hair then straightened it. I
picked out a plain white shirt, a red hoodie, and black
skinny jeans. I didn't feel like dolling myself up
today. I lazily put on 2 coats of mascara and slipped on
some grey and black plaid slip-ons. I grabbed my backpack
and walked outside. As soon as I did, a HUGE gust of wind
came out of nowhere and my hair flew into my face.
"Ugh!" I screamed out. I pushed my hair back
then kept it in place. "Pax! Paxton!" I heard
someone yell. I turned around.
"Danny?"
