Futuristic Warfare
Robots. The most evil race of in history are taking over.
She nodded, puffing so much she couldn't talk. The shooting had slowed donw, but we still heard the occasional gunfire. They weren't near us but we couldn't risk stopping. Not now, we were so close. We ran over up to teh cliff and we walked through the cave. I saw everyone on teh other side and sighed in releif. They all ran over to us, fussing over us.
"um.....M-May" Came Issy shaking voice.
I Looked at her and realised her shoulder was bleeding, her face pale and sweating. She looked liek she was about to collapse
"Issy!" Holly yelled and we all ran to her. She was shaking.
I held her up and lead her to a sleeping stretcher.
"May.i'm sorry..." She whispered. I held her hand
"Don't be, your going to be ok i promise" I said softly, tears springing in the back of my eyes.
"What teh h3ll happened to you to?" Julian asked me
"We were running and i sneezed and one heard me and they started shooting. I didn't realise Issy, i would have stopped." I said, bordering on hysterical. I couldn't lose another friend in this godamned war. I wouldn't let them.
We had made Mason our 'doctor' cause he was studying for medical school. He was in advanced course at school, so we trusted him to know what he was doing.
He cut her sleeve of from her shirt, issy was had been shot in the shoulder with a spear bullet. they were small, sharp and deadly. They were barbed spikes, with poison in them. Luckily the poison 'sack' hadn't been punctured. He gave Issy a shot of something to numb her shoulder and pulled out the spear. It was gross and looked painful. He bandaged her shoulder and we let her sleep. I sat with her for a while. I felt so guilty, i should have protected her better than i did. After a while i realised i had blood on me. It was Issy's. I hoped. I left her tent and walked to the small river nearby. I pulled of my t shirt, leaving me in just a singlet and shorts. I washed my hands and arms. I realised i had been bleeding too. Where the bullet had hit me, it was a normal bullet though.
I sat on a log, looking up at the sky. We were deep in the mountain ranges, far away from anything. Nothing high tech would work out here so we were relatively safe. The sky was beautiful. You could always see more stars in the country. I picked out constellations.
