Chapter 4
Elizabeth's POV
i had to get away from Ali's party for a few minutes. The pounding of the music was still ringing in my ears. I went out on a patio that i had found feeding from the loft upstairs. It was lovely, and had an amazing view of the city. Ali was surrounded by her...admirers and "new" friends who just loved her now. No i wasn't jealous but sometimes it gets to you, i mean just a few weeks ago these people didn't even know we existed and know they knew every little thing about her. i shook those types of thoughts from my head. I inhaled and exhaled a couple of times regaining my composure. i heard the door to the patio open then close behind me. i spun around and stared at the last person on Earth i wanted to see. He was wearing a god awful green shirt with tight pants and his hair was slicked back. Was he trying to look cool? it wasn't working! i shook my head and turned back around smoothing my dress back into place.
"Ahhhh Elizabeth i thought i might find you here." his voice was cool and collected, it sent chills down my spine and i shivered.
"What do you want Austin?" my voice was sharp and short.
"I just wanted to see you and talk" you could hear the smile in his voice.
"Well i don't want to see or talk to you so go away." i heard him chuckled he sounded like he was close behind me.
"hmmm i wonder why?" i felt his breathe on my neck i went rigid and cold inside.
"maybe because you're a freak who stalks me every where i go!" he again laughed at my outburst. i spun away from him and went to the far corner of the patio trying to put some distance between us. "I wouldn't call this stalking i call this love baby!" he put out his arms for a hug. i shook my head and flinched away, smiled and i saw the snaggle tooth that haunted me at night.
"one day you will realize that you and me belong together." he blew me a kiss and then thank goodness he was gone! i let out the breathe i had been holding. a tear ran down my face and i sank to the floor. Austin had been following me and harassing me since the 8th grade and it didn't matter what i did or how i said it he wouldn't leave me alone. No one knew about him, not even Ali. The tears started to fall faster and i couldn't help myself i broke down. Why me? Why did he have to obsesses over me? i wasn't even that pretty! i was just an average girl and i just wanted to keep it like that. i sat there crying deep in thought when i heard a thud in front of me. i was startled and looked up to see a man wearing a purple hoody and his breath was ragged. he gained his balance pretty quickly then stood strait up staring at me. i looked at him like a deer in headlights. he slowly walked over to me and kneel down until we were face to face.
"Hey are you alright?" his voice sounded so angelic that it couldn't be real. i nodded and started in to his beautiful hazel eyes. He smiled and i almost fainted, he held out his hand and i placed mine in it. he pulled me to my feet and as he did the hood fell and i saw who it really was. There i was standing on a patio with Justin Drew Bieber!
