Unfair Choices
Part 27(this is the end, guys)
After finding my dress, the days passed in a blur. It was Friday night in no time. Eva had me locked up in her room, trying to figure out what the hell to do with me hair. Not that you could do much anyway- it was kind of a lost cause. Ted had taken Dev over to Robbie's house while I was getting ready.
Eva finally decided to curl it and pull it into a half-bun. (like this: http://www.asianhairandbeauty.com/wp-content/uploads/2008/09/asian_hairstyles_25.jpg except curled and black) When she finished, I looked at myself in the mirror. I had (not too much) black mascara and eyeliner on, and a touch of red eyeshadow. The dress looked amazing. Eva opened the door. I grabbed my clutch off her bed and tottered down the stairs in black high-heels(kill. me. now.). Eva followed with her camera.
The doorbell rang just as I reached the bottom of the stairs. Eva stepped in front of me and pulled it open. Dev stepped in, and damn, he looked hot. He had a simple black tux on with a red tie. We sort of matched.
When he saw me his eyes widened a bit. I smiled. "Kenzie, you look amazing." I laughed despite myself. "You don't look so bad yourself." Eva practically bounced over. "Picture time!" We both groaned in unison, but followed her instructions.
After the picture frenzy was over, and I had little dots clouding my vision, we got into Dev's car and headed over to the school. Dev opened my door, and I stepped out. I could feel all eyes in the parking lot, as well as the front lawn of the school, on us. I didn't care. I knew there was a smile spread across my face, and I knew I didn't look at ALL like the Kenzie they knew.
We stayed in the front. It was set up with tables, chairs, and a gazebo in the center. There was a HUGE dance floor set up in front of the gazebo. It was perfect. The night air was cool, and there wasn't a cloud in the sky.
After a while, a slow song came on. The entire time I was recieving death glares from others, and many envious looks. Dev lead me up onto the gazebo where a lot of other couples were dancing. I noticed it was all the popular guys, and a lot of the popular girls. Then there was me.
Dev pulled me close, and we danced. I almost tripped a few times with those stupid heels, but I got the hang of it. At the end of the song, anyway. Many of the girls, even with boyfriends and dates, kept looking at me. I knew it was jealousy by the way they were pouting, just a little.
Many eyes were on us by the end of the song. But, Dev, being the hot shot that he is, slipped his arms around my waist, leaned his head in, and kissed me in front of everyone. I heard gasps travel across the crowd. But I didn't care. I slid my arms around his neck, completely content with the situation. He pulled his head back up and looked right into my creepily mis-matched eyes. His eyes were sparkling. "I love you, Kenzie Martin. Don't ever forget that."

And so we're done now. Rather than all this lovey-dovey stuff, how would you guys like a TON of sneaking around and lots of action mixed in? :) Next story's gonna pwn this one. I think you guys'll like it.
