life is tough. you have to roll with the punches all to often.

She has had it with him.
She's been through enough. They were the closests friends.
It was bad enough she fell for him, but he moved on so quickly,
it was unbelievable. How could he?
He talked to her every day, they shared laughs and jokes.
Every smile, every word, it meant nothing.
He was the world to her.
Of course there were always the rough patches, where he liked other girls,
But in the end he would always go back to her.
Her friends couldn't understand. The feelings he gave her were impossible to match.
As she tried to make ends meet she became lost, helpless.
But finally she saw him for who he really was.
A Fake.
She was done.

Life is like a rough draft of an English paper
you are doing the night before it is due. It has some great parts to it and is full of great ideas but it isn’t quite put together. It’s ripped at the edges from where it was stuffed in a backpack and has many pen marks where you wanted what you wrote, and then erased it, but it was already in pen. It is also full of sentences that are worth every single mistake you ever make. Great memories and stupid mistakes are just part of it. It has some rough patches. Sometimes you really just want to stop writing, but you can’t, because this matters just as much as now as it will later on. The more you write and the more you think, the better your paper gets. You realize how great it is and even if you don’t get an A+ you know that it is worth, its all worth it. The scratched out marks are realization of what can be better in the future and you have learned from everyone. So keep writing, because when you are handing your paper in, you don’t want it to be half done and full of things that were just okay and could be better. When you read over your work you want to say it was the best you could have done.
