For Halloween,
instead of dressing in a skimpy costume and going to a Halloween party like the majority of the girls that I know, I will be dressing as Daphne from Scooby Doo. My best friend is going to be Velma, and our two best guy friends are going to be Shaggy and Fred. My little white terrier dog is going to be our Scooby. The guy who is dressing up as Fred can drive, so we are going to drive around in his mom's minivan, which we will paint "The Mystery Machine" on the windows. We are going to get some candy and take masks off of little kids.
And that is how Halloweed should be done, my friends.

I hope this isn't offensive to anyone...
My grandmother did not want to die. She told us she wasn't ready. Yet, cancer took her away. She fought for her life. She died yesterday.
Honestly?
Don't take your own life.
There are many people who would fight for
just ONE more hour with their loved ones.

What's the point of you taking your own life.
Honestly. How old are most of you? 14, 15, 16? Some older. Some younger. Most of us can't even buy cigarettes, alcohol. Some of us can't even see a PG movie. & Yet, you guys want to take your own lives? The average lifespan is 50+ years. & You're 15.... Do you realize that's less than a quarter of your life. You don't know what is going to happen in the next 35 years. You don't even know what is going to happen tomorrow for you to end your life tonight.You. Just. Don't. Let me tell you guys something, suicide won't end your pain. I promise you, it won't. It's like having a kid and you're just like I don't want you anymore & you hand it over to someone else. You aren't getting rid of that baby, you're just giving it to someone else. It's not your problem anymore, it's someone else's problem. You guys don't understand how incredibly valuable your life is. So why do you want to commit suicide? You can save a life by finding a cure to cancer or you can save a life by talking someone out of suicide. You might be the reason a million people are alive tomorrow. You just never know. You honestly don't. So before you go and pop those pills or put a gun to your head. Think of what will happen tomorrow when you're not around. Think of your best friend whose gonna be crying, asking herself what happened. Think of your future husband/wife, they just lost their true love. Life gets better. I promise. It does. You will have low spots and high spots and you will have times where you just want to do something irrational, but don't let those times bring you down. Since everything will be okay in the end. If it's not okay, it's not the end. Don't kill yourself tonight when you don't know what's going to happen tomorrow..

This really is the last time I'll get to go on Witty...
I'm in hospital right now, my family weren't even allowed to see me until last night. I wanted to talk to all of you people one last time, but the doctors wouldn't let my mom take a laptop - I begged them for an hour to let her, even if I could only use it for 15 minutes (I also begged them to let me see my girlfriend, I can be VERY persuasive when I want haha) ... I was THAT desperate.
But yeah. This is the last time I'll be on Witty.. I could be dead within 2 weeks. It sucks, but everyone will go on without me. They all know that even though I'm not physically with them, I'll always be there; and they can always talk to me, even though I won't be able to respond.
Gah, there's SO many things I want to say to you all, but I don't know how to say them, and anyways I always end up saying the same kind of thing in my quotes in the hope that people would be inspired. I'm a bit of a fail, aren't I? I'm certainly no Martin Luther King Jr, or Nelson Mandela or any of those awesome inspirational people.. I'm just an ordinary 15 year old kid who's going to die of cancer :Z But I still try. I don't like giving up. And I've been told before that my quotes have saved people's lives. That's.. just amazing. It makes me feel like I have made a difference, even though it was just a small difference to the universe. Does that make sense? .. No, I didn't think so. x_x
So, all I can say now is.. Read my other quotes. You don't have to fave them, just read them. And never give up on your life. You can get through this. There's always someone going through worse than you; someone who'd give anything to be you.. Like, I'd give anything to be one of you people here than be dying of cancer like I am now.
You want to be beautiful? Just believe in yourself. Confidence looks good on a girl.

Today was my school talent show.
Me, being myself - decided to sing "Skyscraper" by Demi Lovato. I did my thing, I sang. And, at the end - people were in tears and I got a standing ovation. I have never felt so good about myself. The dean went to take the microphone away, but I asked if I could say something to my peers. He allowed me. That's when my heart poured out.. "Thank you all, really. Now, I have something to say." After that, it became dead silent. "You're clapping for me now, right? Weren't half of you guys the people who said I was 'fat' yesterday? Yeah. Little do you know, I can't keep my food down because of those things you say. I can go days without eating. I hope you know that." Then, I had to stop because some girls were laughing. I walked up to them and pulled up my bracelets. "Hey, Bri. Look. Look at what YOU caused. Yes, YOU. You practically put these scars on my wrist. Because of people like you, people turn into people like me. Can I just ask why? Why do you do this to me and so many others?" Her answer was this; "Well, Nicole. I do it because people are losers, a lot like you." And at that, I had enough. What did I say? I said, "Bri, I'm done. I'm done with you. So is everyone else. YOU NEED TO STOP. I'm sick of you. If you don't stop soon, something WILL happen. It may happen to me. Or to you. Or to that girl over there. Just, STOP. Ok? Go on and try to tear me down, I will be rising from the ground. Like a skyscraper." I turned around and walked away. I wasn't finished though. I turned back around to face my peers and said, "I thought suicide was the answer. But, I KNOW it's not. Don't try it, guys. You hurt yourself, you hurt your family. And it hurts your friends. Please. Talk to me if you need anything." People clapped so loud, my ears were about to bust. But, WAIT. I'm not done yet... This really popular guy, Mike, came up to the front. He took the microphone and said, "Nicole.. Thank you for giving me the courage to do this." No one knew what was coming, but what he said shocked so many people. "Bri, we're through." I have never laughed harder in my life. Best day ever? I think YES.
