TORTURED LOVE
Kids running, kids kissing, kids crying, kids being shoved into lockers ... typical school.
I push through the peeling and flaky red door. I didn't remember anything. Had summer really been this long? I fell to the ground. Christy, my best friend, had tackled me and pulled me up with a hug as usual. "C'mon Rach you knew that was coming!" Christy said. Rachel, that's me. "And you knew this was coming!" as I shove her into a locker. "Haha! I love you Rach!" Christy says coming out of the crammed space. "So how was your summ-" I was cut off but Mat, Christy's boyfriend, who immediately pulled her and kissed her and pulled her away. "Sorry Rach but she's mine! She'll meet up with you fifth period!" Mat yelled. I need a boyfriend!
That's what happened two years ago. Now my day normally goes like this:
I get dropped off by my boyfriend as he fines a parking spot. The teachers open the freshly painted door, escorting us to the new school. "Rachel!" Manda screams. Manda is my new best friend. "Manda! I haven't seen you all summer! I still can't believe you went to Italy for the summ-" Manda couldn't finish as my boyfriend pulled my, picked my up and ran to my locker. On our way running, I saw Christy, she gave me dirty looks. "Run faster" I said. "Why?" he said. "I... um... I... I-I just don't want to be late for class." I sadly lied.
When I said I need a boyfriend, I didn't mean this.
