~A true love story~
Okay, i've known this guy for three years and his name is Tyler. I've known him for three years. I see him usually about three times a year. Everytime we see each other we end up liking eachother. Finally, last year he asked me out while we were camping together. I said no, because i didnt want my first boyfriend to be two years older than me. So he was dissapointed and then we both left and went our seperate ways. Throughout this whole year he texted me and we were friends. He asked me out again in mid january. I still said no because i hadnt seen him in a while and i never had a boyfriend before and i didnt want my first one to be older than me. So finally, in febuary this boy cameron asked me out and i really liked him. So we dated for about three months. During these three months i liked him alot but something felt wrong, something was missing. I still kept in touch with Tyler through text messaging. Then, about a week ago, on a friday it was time to go camping again. On the way up i was talking with my friend about how i wasnt happy with cameron. So i got the guts and called him and we broke up. The next thing you know tyler showed up. The minute i saw him he got this look in his eyes and i knew he had to be mine. a day later he told me he liked me and i told him too. The next day he asked me out. He grabbed my hand and said, "Emily, Carol, Mello..... will you please go out with me?" i said i didnt know. He then said, " i know its soon but weve been bestfriends for like two years. and if you say no well always be together in your heart." i then said, "id love to go out with you tyler."

My dad is a teacher. Today he picked me up from school with a 15 year old boy in the car. The boys name is Zack, and he needed a ride home. For 45 minutes i sat in the car with this boy and we talked, laughed, and i had a good time with him. Once he got out of the car my dad told me that he had autism. I had no idea, i only thought he was a little weird, and i just accepted him. My dad told me that i probably made his day by talking to him and laughing with him because he doesn't have many friends. The funny thing is, that boy was the nicest person i've talked to all day today and i rather talk to him again for a hour than a "normal" boy. Sometimes, just sometimes, the "problem" children are the ones who shine the brightest.
