...incase u could't tell by my username =) I'm 17 and a senior in highschool!! I love xc and track, it's my life. It's where i met the most amazing friends anyone could ask for <3

And the girl in the picture with me, thats my bff Megan. She just moved all the way across the country at the beginning of the summer :( It was the hardest thing I've ever been through

Rachel's Challenge:
On April 20, 1999, Rachel Scott was the first of 13 people to be killed in the Columbine High School Shooting. Two boys in her school came in with guns and shot down everyone in their way. Rachel's compassion and acts of kindness touched the lives of many people, and continue to do so today. She had an idea that "if one person can go out of their way to show compassion, then it will start a chain reaction of the same". Keep the chain going by doing simple acts of kindness, because you never know what will happen tomorrow.

Long but worth reading...Have you ever had a quote or song that explains exactly how you feel? Well, this is my quote/poem.
It's the worst feeling in the world
to love and hate someone all at the same time.
And it's hard to watch things change
when all you want is for them to stay the same.
It's funny but stupid
how you want everything
and nothing at the same time.
It's crazy when you want to let go,
but you keep holding on.
And when you want to move on,
but you're stuck right where you started.
When feelings come and go
and you can't decide what you want.
When you have so many things to say
but you don't know where to start.
When you want them in your life so bad,
but all you can do
is push them farther and farther away.
It's so hard to think back
to how things used to be
and look at it now and realize
that things are different
and they may never be the same.
You tell yourself it's not worth it,
but if it really didn't matter,
you wouldn't spend so much time thinking about it.
