   Before my boyfriend and i had met, he attempted suicide. Taking enough pain killers to surely end his life. But against all odds, he survived his attempt. One day he asks me if i believe everything happens for a reason. I asked him why he was asking. He told me that he knows I'm the reason he's alive, because we were meant to be together. His words brought me to tears.

   In French, you don't really say "I miss you." You say "tu me manques" which is closer to "you are missing from me." I love that. "You are missing from me." You are a part of me, you are essential to my being. You are like a limb, or an organ, or blood. I cannot function without you.
