I'm a 14 year old girl. I have a disease in which my fingers turn blue when I'm cold. Its all because I have low blood circulation to my fingers. I have to take 4 types of medicines in the morning, and 3 types at night. No one knows what it's like to have to deal with this......e.v.e.r.y.d.a.y. I get teased. I'm tired of explaining why my fingers are different colors. There are some nights when I just lay in my bed and think, 'Why me? Why do all the bad things happen to me?'. Then I realize that the people in my life that do not care that I have this disease are the people to keep close to my heart. I could not have gotton through any of this without my mom. She has gone with me to all my doctor's visits, and she has told me so many times that if she could do anything to change places with me, she would try anything in the world. I cannot thank her enough for that. She treats me just like a normal teenager. But I have come to realize that being normal is boring. Since I was 8, I have been struggling to find a way in which to be normal. By now, I have descovered that I absolutely cannot see myself any other way than this, & I completely accept myself. Fav, comment, & follow (I follow back) if you are different & accept it. If you do not accept it, whatever it may be, I hope you can use my story as an inspiration to you.
