when you look at her,
what do you see?
a big broad smile,
a pair of sparkling brown eyes,
a head full of black hair.
underneath it all,
pain overflows her heart,
love runs through her veins,
and doubt pounds in her head.
nobody really knows the actress she is.
everytime she steps out her house
it's like she steps onto a movie set.
acting like she's happy,
acting like her smile and laughs are real,
acting like she has no worries.
she puts on her best performance around him.
she says "i love you"
when she really want to break out in tears.
she says "what's wrong baby?"
already knowing the answer's gonna hurt her.
acting has become a daily thing for her,
such a routine,
that she can no longer find the real.
find what's hidden inside.
